Synopsis
Kamala, a superhero fan with an imagination--particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel--feels like she doesn't fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she admires.
More about Ms. Marvel
Kamala is largely absent in "Time And Again," a moving episode that also highlights the show's biggest problem
Despite an epic quarrel, most of “Seeing Red” feels like a quiet reflection on a damaged family history
"Destined" drops a bombshell and tosses in some Islamic mythology
The episode also deftly balances inherited trauma and humor
The Disney Plus superhero series boasts a representation of Islam we rarely see onscreen
